Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Vial, an iOS app made by Syed Arman, an independent developer ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Vial, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Vial is

Vial is a tracking and educational tool for people who follow peptide and GLP-1 protocols. It helps you log doses, manage protocols, calculate reconstitution math, visualize concentration over time, and review your own adherence. All of your tracking data is stored locally on your device.

2. Not medical advice

Vial does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or dosing instructions. Everything in the app — including peptide information, half-life estimates, reconstitution math, stack analysis, and any AI-generated content in the Peptide Guide — is for general educational and harm-reduction purposes only. It is not a substitute for the judgment of a licensed healthcare professional.

Most peptides are not FDA-approved for the uses described in the app. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make about acquiring, dosing, or using any compound. Always consult a licensed physician before starting or changing any protocol. Vial does not sell peptides, recommend vendors, or verify the quality, purity, or legality of any compound. You assume all risk associated with your use of any substance you choose to track.

3. Eligibility

Vial is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app. By using Vial you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Your data and account

Vial does not require an account. Your tracking data lives on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your own backups (use Profile → Export Data). Deleting the app or using Delete Account erases your data permanently and irreversibly.

5. Vial Pro subscriptions

The core of Vial is free to use. Optional Vial Pro features are available through an auto-renewing subscription. The available plans, prices, and any free-trial terms are shown in the app and on the App Store at the time of purchase.

• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple; we never see or store your payment details.
• Free trial. If a plan includes a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription at the price disclosed at purchase.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or via the App Store. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
• Refunds. All purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. We are unable to issue refunds directly. To request one, contact Apple Support.
• Receipt validation. We use RevenueCat to validate App Store receipts and keep your subscription status in sync, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Free features remain available whether or not you subscribe. We never lock data you have already entered behind the paywall.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate the acquisition or distribution of controlled or prohibited substances;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where permitted by law;
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app or its content without our permission;
• Misrepresent the app's educational content as medical advice to others.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its design, text, graphics, and compiled peptide reference content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your personal use, subject to these Terms and Apple's standard licensed-application terms.

8. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information, estimate, or calculation it provides is accurate or complete. Half-life curves, concentration estimates, and reconstitution math are approximations based on published values and your inputs, and may not reflect your individual physiology.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Changes to the app and these Terms

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where significant, surface a notice in the app or on the App Store listing. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property) will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
